I hit a limit
On the free plan you can try everything: making books, Story View, sharing and PDFs (with a watermark). There are just a few limits, listed below.
Once you know the limits, you can keep going by splitting your book or writing without AI.
Free-plan limits and what to do

| Stories per book | 20 | When you see the message about 20 stories per book, make a new book and continue there (for example, Part 1: childhood, Part 2: adulthood). Paid plans hold more. |
| AI credits | 150 a month | See your remaining credits under your name at the top right → Remaining credits. When they run out, you can keep going by writing yourself without AI features (such as Write it myself without AI in Moment Book). |
| Moment Book photos | 10 | If you have more than 10, split them into several Moment Books (the same on every plan). |
| Photo Mosaic output | 2,048px | That is plenty for screens and phones. Large prints need a paid plan. |
| Watermark | Free-plan PDFs have a gray "Chronospect" watermark — My PDF has a watermark |
